Everyone is not mentally or physically able to be a bodybuilder. I know this is something you did not expect to read, but it is true. However, before you can start exercising, dieting or bulking up or any of the physical attributes, you must be mentally prepared and discipline to train. • Tip 1 – The most important tip is to stay hydrated (drink plenty of water), because you will work up a sweat.
• Tip 2 – Stretching/ Warm up - It’s important for anyone, regardless if you are bodybuilding or just exercising, to stretch and warm up the body. Stretching and warm ups get the blood flowing through the muscles and it prevents injury to the muscle. So before hitting the hard exercises, do some bend and reaches, hamstring stretches and arm rotations to stretch and warmup.

• Tip 3 – Use non-equipment exercise such as push-ups, sit ups, jump jacks, and other exercise where you are using just your body weight. Doing non equipment exercise will build endurance before moving to equipment exercise. Stamina is important in bodybuilding; bodybuilders spend a large amount of their time in the gym or exercising. Exercising constantly will rob the body of oxygen.
• Tip 4 – Having a workout buddy – Working out alone is possible, but working out with a partner will motivate you and keep you from injuring yourself. When you get into actually lifting free weights you will need someone there to help when you become fatigue. As I said previously exercising constantly can rob the body of oxygen making you weak and susceptible to injury.
